Description We are in search of a Customer Operation Support to join our team in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. This role is vital within our logistics industry, requiring a balance of office-based tasks and hands-on operations within a warehouse environment. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, ensuring a dynamic and multifaceted work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective and efficient communication.

• Coordinate between clients and trucking companies to ensure seamless operations.

• Spend part of the day in office settings and part in the warehouse, maintaining a balance between administrative tasks and physical duties.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to manage and maintain records, send emails, and conduct follow-ups.

• Exhibit a high level of independence and assertiveness in managing tasks and responsibilities.

• Understand and navigate warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

• Leverage experience in freight forwarding to enhance operational effectiveness.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders and other data entry tasks.

• Provide constructive feedback to improve operations and customer service.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and other customer service related tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment

• Demonstrated excellence in providing exceptional customer service

• Skilled in data entry with a keen focus on accuracy and efficiency

• Experience in email correspondence, with strong written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Prior experience in order entry and processing

• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars effectively

• Knowledge of shipping procedures within the logistics industry

• Familiarity with operations in a logistics setting

• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to team goals and objectives

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers.
