Robert Half Help Desk Analyst III in Lynn, Massachusetts

Description

We are currently seeking a Tier III Help Desk Technician for an in-office position. The primary focus of this role is to deliver top-tier technical support remotely, on-site, and via phone/email, ensuring peak performance, maximum uptime, and optimal functionality of both internal and external systems. Collaborating closely with Tier I and Tier II technicians, this role involves providing escalated technical support and advanced troubleshooting services to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

Help Desk Support:

Offer technical guidance and assistance for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Utilize various communication channels (phone, email, in person, remote access) for effective support delivery.

Utilize, monitor, and update ConnectWise ticketing software.

Provide remote support across a range of services, including web hosting (cPanel), Windows OS workstations/servers, Linux servers, Mac, email, mobile devices, spam filtering, domains, VOIP systems, SSL certificates, Office 365, printers, peripherals, office suite applications, client-specific programs, QuickBooks, SonicWall, Sophos, Active Directory, and Exchange.

Configure workstations with administrator accounts, managed services, antivirus software, etc.

Assist in resolving LAN/WLAN-related issues and offer appropriate guidance to users.

Log and document all interactions within the help desk.

Monitor and manage SSL certificates, including renewal tasks.

Document critical client information, procedures, and credentials.

Guide users through problem-solving processes in scenarios where remote access isn’t feasible.

Conduct email migrations to Office 365 or Exchange Servers from various sources.

Manage ConnectWise Automate instances, including updates, patching, custom scripts, and alerts monitoring.

Utilize VMware vSphere to address client server-related tasks.

Requirements

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in help desk or IT support environments.

Proficient troubleshooting skills.

Excellent oral communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to provide after-hours support as needed.

Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+.

Experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Server administration.

Familiarity with cloud-based technologies like Azure and AWS.

Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
