Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Lynnwood, Washington

Description We are offering a job opportunity in Lynnwood, Washington, for a skilled Payroll Specialist. This role involves a range of payroll duties, including payroll processing, handling deductions, and managing multi-state payroll. This is a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities: • Processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner • Managing semi-monthly and multi-state payroll operations • Handling payroll-related deductions accurately • Utilizing ADP Workforce Now for payroll tasks • Managing payroll for over 500 employees • Ensuring compliance with multi-state payroll regulations • Resolving any payroll discrepancies or issues • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate payroll records • Collaborating with the HR team and management on payroll-related matters Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required

• Experience with Multi-state Payroll is necessary

• Proven ability to handle Payroll for over 500 Employees

• Knowledge of Payroll in Multi-State scenarios is essential

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Excellent problem-solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Certified Payroll detail oriented (CPP) designation preferred.
