Robert Half International Vice President of Finance in Lynnwood, Washington

Description

The Vice President of Finance will be the key business leader responsible for Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, cost control, asset management and business decision support. They will collaborate with senior management to position the business for financial growth and efficiency, and to ensure that the company meets or exceeds its financial commitments. Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and effective financial processes, systems and controls to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures. The Vice President of Finance will also oversee the Accounting and IT departments.

Salary: $115,000 - $155,000.00

Responsibilities:

-Ensure that internal and external financial reporting is completed timely and accurately in accordance with GAAP

-Monthly status reporting on inventory, land pipeline, home sales, construction starts, and home closings

-Monthly analysis of market and financial benchmarks

-Evaluation of current company structure and proposed/potential changes to equity structure

-Responsible for evaluation and compliance of all company sponsored employee benefits

-Ensure that the company maintains adequate insurance coverage necessary to mitigate business risks

-Oversite of annual insurance renewal process and evaluation of insurance proposals

-Build and maintain library of company’s financial and accounting standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, etc.

-Solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where limited standardization exists

-Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Adobe) and Builder Trend

-Flexible, highly organized with a strong orientation to detail/quality work.

-Proven ability to work with multiple projects and manage competing priorities

-Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.
