Description
We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team in Lyons, New Jersey. The role entails overseeing the billing operations in our organization. As a Billing Clerk, you will be working in a dynamic environment, handling various tasks related to accounting and billing functions, keeping track of customer interactions, and ensuring the prompt and accurate billing of our services.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
• Handle the processing of all invoices for customers in the legal industry
• Utilize the Elite Legal Billing System for the processing and tracking of all billing activities
• Maintain up-to-date billing system and customer files
• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Perform account reconciliations
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Regularly review and rectify any discrepancies in billing
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
• Process adjustments to customer accounts as needed
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with IBM AS/400
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Billing Functions
• Knowledge of Claim Administration
• Familiarity with Collection Processes
• Excellent Customer Service skills
