Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Project Manager in Macon, Georgia. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects with specified deliverables. The Project Manager will be primarily engaged in the management of projects in the construction and flooring industry.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret project blueprints, detailing material and labor requirements
• Deliver detailed cost projections, considering all material and labor requirements
• Manage full-scale project management, from inception to completion
• Supervise onsite installations, ensuring the project stays within budget and timeline, and is completed to the highest quality
• Prepare, submit and manage project contracts, change orders, and other required project documentation
• Regularly liaise with external suppliers and contractors, as well as internal stakeholders
• Track and report project progress, including cost tracking, and schedule updates
• Solve problems and make critical decisions to ensure project success
• Utilize cost and labor estimation skills for project management
• Maintain an understanding of construction and/or floor industry processes and operations Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager
• Expertise in cost and labor estimation
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in project management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or related field
• PMP certification is a plus
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
