Description
In this position, you will be in charge of preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, and preparing audits, as well as managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Key responsibilities
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Requirements - General ledger experience
Foundational knowledge in SAP
Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience required
Solid understanding of cost accounting
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Experience with ERP systems
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
