Robert Half Direct is partnering with a small CPA firm seeking a Bookkeeper / Tax Preparer with tax preparation experience to deliver outstanding client services.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate in a timely manner with clients and provide knowledgeable, honest, and valuable information and advice. The Bookkeeper will also be working with and assisting the current team of accountants and staff members.
Preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals
Reconciling bank accounts
Preparing financial statements
Preparing and filing Sales and CAT Tax Returns
Developing business & tax planning strategies for business clients
5 + years of bookkeeping experience as well as preparing financial statements, business tax returns, and individual tax returns
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and QuickBooks
Must be eligible to sit for the CPA or EA Exams
Public accounting experience
Experience as a tax preparer or tax planning
Experience reviewing & preparing financial statements & bookkeeping
Self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented
Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and communicate effectively with clients and team
