Robert Half is looking for a Club Accountant/Business Manager for a private club in Madison whose primary responsibilities include monthly financial statements, bi-weekly payroll processing, coordinating benefit programs, tax filings, AR, and AP. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience and understanding of GAAP, as well as be comfortable in a very collaborative team environment and willing to work on ad hoc accounting projects when needed.
Responsibilities include:
Bi-weekly payroll processing
Monthly financial statement preparation
Coordinate benefit programs including health, dental, life, 401k
Works closely with Finance Committee on reporting overall monthly financial condition of the Club
Maintains filing deadlines for all taxing authorities
Requirements
Associates or Bachelors in Accounting
3-5+ years of accounting experience
Excellence in written and verbal communication
Attention to detail
