Description

We are welcoming applications for the role of an interim Controller based in Madison, Wisconsin for a client. This role is pivotal in the management and maintenance of the company's financial records with a focus on tracking and evaluating daily financial activities. It involves developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial data. This role is part of a team working on the implementation of a new financial system, making experience with system implementation highly valued. The employment type for this role is short-term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the company's financial records

• Tracking and evaluating daily financial activities

• Developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial data

• Assisting the Accounting Department with daily operations

• Participating in the implementation of a new financial system

• Utilizing strong Accounting skills and proficiency in financial software

• Providing excellent communication abilities to effectively communicate the financial status to leadership

• Applying experience in financial management and accounting

• Demonstrating skills in 'Accounting Software Systems', 'ERP Solutions', 'Accounting Functions', 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Month End Close', 'Budgeting - Forecasting', 'Financial Analysis', 'Inventory Analysis', 'Data Analysis', 'Data Integration', 'Process Improvement', 'Process Optimization'

Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Ability to oversee all Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Month End Close process

• Expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Strong skills in Financial Analysis

• Experience in Inventory Analysis

• Proficiency in Data Analysis

• Knowledge of Data Integration

• Strong focus on Process Improvement

• Experience in Process Optimization
