Job Title: Data Developer (EDI)
Location: Madison, WI (East Side)
Work Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Salary: $70-100,000/year DOE
Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled SQL Database Developer with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) experience to join our client’s IT team in the Madison, WI area. The ideal candidate would possess an in-depth understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices along with hands-on experience with EDI standards and protocols.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implement database systems based on requirements.
Ensure data quality and integrity in databases.
Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
Collaborate with application developers and architects to ensure a seamless flow and integrity of data.
Responsible for receiving, translating, and integrating EDI data to and from multiple external partners.
Analyze, test, and support all EDI-related configuration changes.
Assist in the analysis and design of new EDI applications and enhancements to existing EDI applications.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a Database Developer.
Proficiency with SQL and stored procedures.
Hands-on experience with EDI standards and protocols.
Experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server is desired but not required.
Prefer candidates with knowledge in programming/scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, PowerShell, VB, etc.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
