Robert Half is always seeking Full Charge Bookkeepers for clients in the Madison area. A motivated bookkeeper needs to be a self-starter who can multitask effectively. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Typical duties for a Bookkeeper include but are not limited to:
Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Performing collection calls
Preparing and entering invoices
3-way match of invoices to receipts
Processing Payroll, including deductions, garnishments and taxes
Posting journal entries
Assisting with month-end and year-end close preparation
Preparing financial statements
Managing bank and general ledger reconciliation
Prior experience with AP and AR required
Exposure to Payroll is strongly preferred
Proficient with QuickBooks or other accounting software
Fast and accurate data entry
Intermediate Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Exceptional customer services skills
