Description
Robert Half is seeking an IT Director for our client in the financial industry. This role is centered around ensuring the security and integrity of all systems in the organization. The IT Director will be responsible for developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and goals, managing relationships with external vendors and service providers, and undertaking other duties to drive the vision and fulfill the mission of the organization.
This is a Direct/Permanent Hire role that will require a hybrid work schedule in Madison, WI.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and revise operational plans, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain the security and integrity of all systems.
• Provide active and ongoing coaching and development to department staff.
• Regularly review the organization's information needs, suggesting modifications and advancements as necessary.
• Implement cost-effective and efficient systems and computer operations to meet current and future information needs.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to optimize technology solutions.
• Lead cloud implementations and manage cloud infrastructures.
• Oversee the management of IT databases and data management practices.
• Ensure the organization is up to date with Cybersecurity frameworks, firewalls, encryption, penetration testing, and incident response.
• Manage IT projects using project management tools and methodologies.
Requirements
• Must have in-depth knowledge of IT architecture, cloud and on-prem.
• Should possess strong Project Management skills.
• Must have expertise in Database Management.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Infrastructure is required.
• Proficiency in Virtualization techniques is a must.
• Should have a strong understanding of Cybersecurity.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 is required.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in the financial industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and costs effectively.
• Should be up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT sector.
