Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead or Principal Developer with 10-15 years of experience in full-stack development and architecture. This contract-to-hire role requires a professional who can direct and guide the development team, conduct code reviews, and ensure alignment with the evolving architectural direction. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and leadership to help the team achieve a higher level of maturity in their development processes.
Typical Day/Week Responsibilities:
Provide architectural leadership for front-end, back-end, and full-stack development efforts.
Review the existing code base, assess current development practices, and guide the team toward the correct solutions based on new, evolving requirements.
Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed across both development teams.
Participate in daily Scrum sprints, stand-up meetings, and report on progress.
Engage in coding activities, contributing directly to new development projects.
Collaborate with team members, including occasional meetings with stakeholders such as Eric and Ken, to discuss project directions and requirements.
Support internal users within Orbis and assist with customer access for reporting needs.
Provide mentorship and answer technical questions from team members to foster growth and alignment with development goals.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Full-Stack Architecture: Proven experience in front-end, back-end, and full-stack architecture, including the ability to guide teams toward optimal solutions.
C#.NET Core: Expertise in C#.NET Core (version 6 preferred, but open to other versions).
Front-End Frameworks: Strong experience with Vue.js, including building and managing component libraries. Familiarity with React or Angular is also considered a plus.
Entity Framework: Comprehensive knowledge of Entity Frameworks for data access and management.
Scrum/Agile Methodologies: Solid experience working within Scrum/Agile environments, including participation in sprints, stand-ups, and iterative development cycles.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Developer role, with a focus on the Plastics Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Demonstrable experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
• Expertise in Vue.js is required.
• Strong skills in C# - Sharp and C Sharp Programming (C#).
• Solid understanding and experience with .NET Core.
• Familiarity with Architecture Standards is necessary.
• Experience in Web application architecture is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using Entity Framework.
