Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Logistics Clerk in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Madison, Wisconsin, 53717, United States. In this role, you will be involved in various logistics and operational tasks that are crucial to the smooth running of the business.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the shipping and receiving of pharmaceuticals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare boxes and packages for shipping, including those requiring specific packaging conditions such as refrigeration
• Handle customer orders and ensure they are processed correctly and efficiently
• Utilize skills in data entry and management systems to maintain accurate records of all transactions and deliveries
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
• Use Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Outlook to manage and communicate information internally and externally
• Utilize IBM AS/400 for various operational tasks
• Ensure that all medications are properly stored and shelved upon receipt
• Assist in light computer use and data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy at all times
• Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements • Proficiency in IBM AS/400 and Management System
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suites including Excel and Outlook
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software
• Understanding of cargo management and delivery processes
• Excellent customer service skills and experience
• Proficiency in data entry tasks
• Experience in managing deliveries effectively
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in logistics operations.
