Robert Half Office Manager in Madison, Wisconsin

Description

We are seeking a proactive, self-starter individual to join our team as an Office Manager based in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves supporting day-to-day human resources functions, assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, managing office operations and procedures, and conducting basic bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Support human resources functions such as recruitment coordination, onboarding assistance, and training program logistics.

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal standards and company protocols.

• Serve as a resource for employees by addressing HR-related inquiries and providing guidance on company policies and procedures.

• Oversee employee benefits administration, including enrollment processes and resolving benefits-related inquiries.

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

• Collaborate with department managers to assess staffing needs and support workforce planning initiatives.

• Conduct periodic audits of HR processes to ensure adherence to established procedures and identify areas for improvement.

• Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution between employees and management.

• Manage office operations and procedures, including procurement, inventory management, and facility maintenance.

• Assist with financial tasks such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing using accounting software systems.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office management role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience with Billing Functions.

• Strong Customer Service skills.

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration.

• Knowledge of Paylocity software.

• Basic Bookkeeping skills.

• Experience with employee Onboarding processes.
