Robert Half Scanning Technician in Madison, Wisconsin

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Scanning Technician located in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is primarily engaged in the scanning of work orders in an accounting setting. The Scanning Technician will ensure that all documents are accurately scanned and organized, and will use various software and computer programs to aid in the efficient processing of work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately scan and organize work orders in the accounting office, ensuring that each scan is associated with the correct order.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and CRM to process and track work orders.

• Ensure clear separation of work orders, using paper clips or other methods as needed.

• Handle billing functions related to work orders, distinguishing between no charge and billable orders.

• Use computer programs to assist in the scanning and organization of work orders.

• Respond and answer inbound calls related to work orders when necessary.

• Perform clerical duties related to the scanning and organization of work orders.

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for the processing of billable work orders.

• Use Banner Ads and About Time software to aid in the efficient handling of work orders.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Requirements • Possess at least 3 years of experience as a Scanning Technician or in a related role

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience in creating and managing Banner Ads

• Skilled in various Computer Programs relevant to the role

• Knowledge of CRM systems would be advantageous

• Prior experience with the software 'About Time'

• Ability to answer inbound calls professionally and efficiently

• Experience in handling Billing Functions

• Proficient in performing Clerical Duties as part of daily tasks

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work in a team and independently as needed

• Must have a problem-solving mindset

• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
