Robert Half Purchase & Sales Specialist in Mahwah, New Jersey
Description We are seeking a Purchase & Sales Specialist to join our team in Mahwah, New Jersey. This role involves managing system integration projects, maintaining records, and facilitating vendor relationships. The successful candidate will also assist with project management and liaise with government procurement agencies.
Responsibilities:
• High proficiency in managing processes using Microsoft Excel.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, RFQs, POs, and conduct reconciliation tasks.
• Oversee system integration projects from bid proposal to delivery, involving supply chain management.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, End Users, and System Engineers to ensure satisfactory delivery.
• Assist in maintaining vendor relationships to ensure best pricing practices and compliance with FMF, ISO, TIA, and export regulations.
• Utilize knowledge of purchasing, vendor quotes, and pricing negotiation.
• Assist in maintaining all vendor and partner relationships and agreements including Line Cards, SLA, compliance, and pricing agreements.
• Liaise with government procurement agencies for system integration deliverables and compliance.
• Maintain a database of all projects, RFP's, products, and funding through delivery.
• Assist Project Manager with all special projects as assigned.
• Use Accounting Software Systems, Concur, Data Processing, Great Plains (GPAC), Microsoft Excel, Accounts Payable (AP), Billing Functions, Check Processing, Customer Service, and Data Entry skills effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with Concur is needed
• Must be skilled in Data Processing
• Ability to use Great Plains (GPAC) is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is needed
• Must be able to handle Billing Functions
• Experience with Check Processing is necessary
• Excellent Customer Service skills are required
• Must be able to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently
