Robert Half Sales & Customer Care Consultant in Mahwah, New Jersey

Description We are in search of a Sales & Customer Care Consultant to join our team in the retail industry, based in Mahwah, New Jersey. As part of this role, you'll be the frontline of customer interaction, assisting with inquiries and complaints, and working towards ensuring a smooth customer experience. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and resolving issues across multiple channels such as email, phone, live chat, and social media.

• Ensure a high-quality customer experience at all times by promptly and efficiently resolving customer issues.

• Proactively anticipate and prevent potential customer service issues by going above and beyond in your approach to customer care.

• Assist customers with a variety of queries spanning from product information, returns, delivery, registration, to payment-related inquiries.

• Contribute to meeting departmental goals by adhering to KPIs, including sales, quality, and productivity targets.

• Collaborate with colleagues within the Customer Care team and across internal departments to continuously improve service quality and knowledge.

• Manage customer credit applications and maintain accurate records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

• Utilize your skills in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry, email correspondence, and order entry.

• Schedule appointments and manage inbound and outbound calls effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Extensive experience in customer service, particularly in a call center environment

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls effectively

• Excellent data entry skills

• Familiarity with order entry systems

• Experience in scheduling appointments

• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints and issues effectively.

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
