Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Printing/Publishing industry, based in Maitland, Florida. This position is fully in-office, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with managing billing functions and accounts receivable, as well as maintaining accurate customer credit records.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Utilizing accounting software systems to manage financial data

• Managing accounts receivable and billing functions

• Operating IBM AS/400 and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites for documentation and communication

• Managing cash activity and check processing

• Utilizing Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting functions

• Resolving customer credit inquiries professionally and promptly. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for managing financial data.

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting tasks is required.

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is essential for managing databases and networks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites for general document creation and management.

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions such as reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and budgeting.

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.

• Knowledge of Billing Functions such as issuing invoices, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies.

• Experience managing Cash Activity including deposits, withdrawals, and bank reconciliations.

• Proficiency in Check Processing to facilitate payments.
