Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the Aerospace industry, located in Manchester, Connecticut. The role of Sr. Accountant requires a highly organized and meticulous individual to join our team. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for the reconciliation of accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and resolving any accounting inquiries. Your duties will also include monitoring financial accounts and taking appropriate actions.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and reconciling account transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Maintaining accurate financial records, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Resolving any accounting inquiries that arise in a timely manner.

• Monitoring financial accounts and taking necessary actions when required.

• Preparing and posting detailed journal entries.

• Proficiently using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Assisting in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. Requirements • Possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accurate financial records.

• Demonstrated ability in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, maintaining the integrity of financial data.

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations, preventing potential discrepancies in financial statements.

• Proficiency in managing and reviewing the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries.

• Familiarity with the preparation and posting of Journal Entries, supporting accurate accounting and financial reporting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of manipulating large data sets and creating complex financial models.

• Experience in managing the Month End Close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
