Robert Half Finance & Accounting is seeking a Controller/Finance Manager for a local client. The desired candidate should have been in Accounting & Finance as a manager previously and be a very hands-on type manager and be a good mentor to a team. This role is a very deadline driven type role and you will have multiple members of staff on the team. CPA preferred plus 3+ years in management. This Controller/Finance Manager role will move quickly for the right individual as this is an add to staff for the company.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Financial Management is essential for this role.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Budgeting and Forecasting is required.

• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements is necessary.

• Demonstrated skills in conducting Financial Analysis to inform business decisions is mandatory.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.

• Strong leadership and team management skills are required.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary.

• High level of integrity and dependability is necessary.

• Must have the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation is required.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is necessary.

• Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
