We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join our team, based in Manhattan Beach, California. This role will focus on providing exceptional customer service for all Tier 1 HRSC incoming inquiries, creating a positive employee experience, and delivering critical services and operational support across the entire United States. The HR Specialist will leverage expertise in areas such as payroll, benefits, HR operations, and talent acquisition to address, resolve, and analyze HR cases, recommend creative solutions, and make proactive adjustments to prevent recurring issues.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding expertly to HRSC tickets, incoming calls, and messaging escalations, providing prompt, accurate, and professional replies

• Displaying empathy, sensitivity, and diplomacy while delivering effective and efficient responses

• Analyzing and troubleshooting a wide variety of incoming incidents across multiple systems and processes to address root causes

• Increasing personal knowledge of HR policies, procedures, practices, and updating the HRSC knowledge database as needed

• Taking responsibility for a variety of HR admin and program tasks, including HCM transactions, compensation reviews and changes, payroll approval/audit/completion, and onboarding and offboarding cases

• Exercising excellent communication and written skills to track the high volume of incoming inquiries, handoffs via email and tickets, and ensuring every received inquiry receives a resolution

• Utilizing skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HCM, About Time, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, and Hiring Processes.

Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience in a HR Specialist role within the retail industry

• Proficiency in utilizing ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now systems

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Knowledge of Ceridian software

• Expertise in HCM (Human Capital Management) and About Time systems

• Ability to manage Benefit Functions effectively

• Experience in Compensation Administration

• Strong knowledge of Compliance procedures within retail industry

• Proficiency in managing Hiring Processes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team or individually

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
