Robert Half Billing Clerk in Maplewood, Minnesota
Description We are in search of a meticulous and organized Credit Clerk to join our team in Oakdale, Minnesota. This role primarily involves managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The Credit Clerk will also monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect overdue payments.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor customer credit accounts for any irregularities or overdue payments.
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
• Handle payer/patient claims and manage accounts receivable reports.
• Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Utilize MS Excel for data management and reporting.
• Adhere to healthcare billing procedures, including Medicare and Medicaid billing. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of two years of experience as a Billing Clerk
• Proficiency in Medical Billing, Medicare Billing, and Medicaid Billing is essential
• Skills in MS Excel
• Experience in Invoice Processing is required
• Familiarity with Payer Requirements
• Experience in HealthCare Billing is a must
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent educational level
• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future.
