Your Responsibilities
As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in driving the financial health of the organization. Here’s how you’ll leave your mark:
Master of Financial Management: Accurately record and oversee all financial transactions in the general ledger.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Guru: Ensure collections and payments happen seamlessly and on time.
Payroll Pro: Spearhead payroll processing, deductions, tax filings, and benefit administration like the pro you are.
Reconciliation Rockstar: Perform detailed bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure our financials are always accurate.
Project Tracker: Stay on top of project-specific financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Collaborative Partner: Work closely with external accountants to ensure smooth and timely tax season filings.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
We’re looking for more than just skills—we want someone who’s excited to make an impact in a fast-paced yet relaxed environment. Here’s what we’re seeking:
Experience That Counts: Proven work history as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar accounting role, ideally in a small business
Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of GAAP
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software and MS Office- Excel specifically.
Payroll Mastery: Hands-on experience with payroll systems and tax filings.
Detail-Oriented Focus: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to independently manage priorities.
Organizational Wizardry: Excellent time management and organizational skills to keep everything on track.
Confidentiality Pro: Ability to handle sensitive financial data with the utmost professionalism.
Effective Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills to build relationships and ensure clarity.
Educational Edge: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but we also value experience within the field!
