Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant with a specialization in agriculture to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in providing financial and tax expertise to our agriculture clientele while also contributing to the growth and success of our firm across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agricultural financial practices, tax regulations, and wealth management strategies, and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Agriculture Client Service:

• Provide comprehensive financial guidance and support to agriculture clients, including farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses.

• Assist clients with financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management tailored to the unique needs of the agriculture industry.

• Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Taxation Expertise:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for agriculture clients, including individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients receive accurate and timely tax advice.

• Assist clients in tax planning and strategizing to optimize their financial position.

Wealth Management:

• Collaborate with our wealth management team to create personalized financial plans for clients, taking into consideration their long-term goals and aspirations.

• Provide investment advisory services, including portfolio management and risk assessment, to help clients achieve financial security.

Advisory Services:

• Offer business advisory services to agriculture and non-agriculture clients, including business planning, succession planning, and growth strategies.

• Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to clients to help them make informed decisions.

Client Relationships:

• Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

• Act as the primary point of contact for agriculture clients, addressing their financial needs and concerns.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the firm's clients receive comprehensive and integrated financial services.

• Share your expertise and mentor team members to foster their professional growth.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on agriculture clientele.

• Strong knowledge of agriculture financial practices, taxation, and wealth management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.

• Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends.
