The primary tasks of the Contracts Manager role will consist of managing and re-negotiating contracts when necessary, in addition to maintaining vendor subcontracts and agreements. The Contracts Manager role will also encompass drafting patterns and overseeing other projects when necessary. Responsibilities

• Ensure contractual provisions and administer contract proposals are ready

• Examine external clients' contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance, and red-line documents as required for compliance

• Cultivate and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

• Direct internal and external requests on status of contracts

• Execute and outsource contracts

• Influence the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

• Interpret and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

• Amend and manage contract repositories

• Support contract administration functions with the coordination and oversight of requirements for compliance with the contract terms and conditions, along with relaying information to internal departments

• File and maintain contracts database Requirements - Less than one year of experience preferred

• Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

• 7+ years of relevant experience

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Command of uniform commercial code

• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

• Bachelor's degree

• Must have strong organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines

• Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

• Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification, or equivalent

• Oversee the process for reviewing and drafting non-disclosure agreements, including software evaluation and licensing agreements
