Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in Marlton, New Jersey. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for managing and processing medical billing, utilizing Microsoft Excel and Epic Software in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process medical billing efficiently and accurately
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Operate Epic Software for patient billing and record keeping
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and take necessary actions on delinquent payments
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly
• Assist in the collection of delinquent payments when necessary
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare billing regulations and standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Medical Billing is essential for this role.
• Profound knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel are required.
• Familiarity with Epic Software is a must.
• The candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• A strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance practices and billing regulations is required.
• The candidate should have the ability to accurately enter data and manage detailed, complex information.
• A proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is necessary.
• The candidate must have a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• A high degree of attention to detail and a focus on quality output is required.
• The candidate should have a willingness to continuously improve and learn new technical skills.
• Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus.
• The candidate must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to adhere to deadlines and standards.
