This Customer Service Representative opportunity is located in Matthews, North Carolina, and is a short-term contract / temporary to hire engagement.

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Deliver outstanding, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

  • Manage the fielding and sending of important written business correspondence

  • By being successful in your role, you will facilitate business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Organize and route incoming telephone calls Requirements - Earlier work involving data entry

  • Good understanding of order entry

  • Experience with export customer service

  • Customer service experience preferred

  • Strong familiarity with DocumentDirect for Windows (DDW)

  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrated knowledge of back office support

  • General familiarity with navigating basic office equipment and protocols

  • Shipping & receiving experience

  • Microsoft Excel experience highly preferred

  • Background working with Microsoft Word

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Shipping

  • Adeptness in import customer service

  • Demonstrated talents in communicating and interacting with clients/customers, both internal and external

  • Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • Customer service and office administrative skills

  • Supportive, positive attitude with a professional demeanour applied to all tasks

  • Demonstrated experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

  • Basic knowledge in computer software programs and office equipment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • 2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred

    • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
