Robert Half Tax Staff - Corporate in Matthews, North Carolina
Robert Half is looking for a Jr. Tax Analyst to join a client of ours in the Matthews area. This role will report to the Tax Manager and get exposure to both domestic and international tax laws and regulations. Candidates for this position must possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA would be preferred but is not required. We are looking for an individual who has excellent organizational, research and communication skills, as well as, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and someone who can learn new (ERP) systems.
Researching tax laws and regulations
Completing various corporate tax returns
Providing assistance during tax audits
Responsible for assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
Collaborate with the accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable teams
Assist with foreign subsidiary compliance requirements
Support annual financial audit and any revenue/tax audits
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business or 1 - 3 years accounting or business experience
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Articulate verbal and written communication skills with the capacity for a creative and persistent drive for problem solving
