Robert Half Support Engineer in Mauriceville, Texas

Description

We are looking to hire a diligent, customer-oriented Support Engineer to help us provide exceptional technical assistance to our clients. As a Support Engineer, your duties will include assessing system and product performance, interpreting customer needs, and offering targeted solutions. You’ll also be responsible to promptly resolve issues and ensure maximum availability of our services.

1) Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems. 2) Designing and implementing efficient network solutions. 3) Providing timely technical support for users and resolving their issues. 4) Recording all technical enquiries and solutions in log reports. 5) Ensuring customer satisfaction with the company’s services and fostering customer relationships. 6) Maintaining an updated knowledge of software and hardware products, as well as technical specifications. 7) Providing advice regarding system upgrades and enhancements. 8) Contributing to the revision of maintenance standards and work procedures. 9) Working with other professionals to address client concerns, implement strategies, and increase product efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field. 2) Proven experience as a Support Engineer, IT Support, or similar role. 3) Excellent knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware. 4) Outstanding listening and questioning skills. 5) Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software. 6) Good understanding of network configurations and software installations. 7) Highly organized with strong attention to details. 8) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 9) Ability to build relationships, and provide excellent customer service.

The successful Support Engineer should have in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong customer service attitude. The ability to handle complex technical issues and maintain high customer satisfaction are crucial for this role.
