Description Your talents will be used to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position requires top-notch analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. What you get to do every day

• Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required

• Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions

• Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

• Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

• Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

• Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives Requirements - 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

• Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

• Cost accounting experience

• Manufacturing experience

• Billing experience

• Expertise in Standard Cost Accounting

• Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

• Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

• Self-starter and strong ethical standards

• Must have excellent time management skills

• Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

• Current and relevant ERP system experience

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

• SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

• Be detailed, flexible, and organized
