Robert Half Director of Finance in Mckinney, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance based in McKinney, Texas, United States. The individual will be a key contributor in the accounting and finance sector of our organization. The role requires a deep understanding of financial management and expertise in implementing policies and procedures for effective financial operations.
Responsibilities
• Lead the finance department in processing all financial transactions accurately and timely, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
• Engage in government contracting, ensuring proper management and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
• Prepare the annual budget, monitor its implementation, and conduct regular budget reviews to identify any discrepancies.
• Utilize accounting software systems such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and CRM to streamline financial operations and enhance data accuracy.
• Conduct regular auditing of financial operations and transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Implement and manage budget processes to support the organization's financial goals.
• Utilize skills in accounting functions to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
• Ensure effective month-end close processes, including the timely preparation and analysis of financial reports. Requirements • Must have proficiency in 3M
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is essential
• Familiarity with Concur software
• Proficiency in CRM is necessary
• Must be adept in handling Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Must have a deep understanding of Annual Budget preparation and management
• Skilled in Auditing processes
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is crucial
