Description
Publicly traded media company in northern VA is seeking a Director of Procurement & Financial Analysis. In this critical role, the Director of Procurement & Financial Analysis will report to the VP of FP& A and provide strategic and operational leadership for the sourcing and procurement of capital expenditures. You will develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies, effictively negotiate with vendors/suppliers to maximize value and drive cost savings. This position will serve as the thought leader on the overall procurement process for the entire organization. This is a tremendous opportunity to make your mark on the organization!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop the sourcing strategy for leveraging suppliers for cost, service and performance enhancements including identification, negotiation of terms & contracts, onboarding and review.
Manage vendor & 3rd party relationships and contracts
Collaborate with key stakeholders to support vendor needs and capital requirements and identify opportunities to gain strategic efficiencies
Establish and enhance contract management policies and procedures
Participate in business case reviews including ROI and other metrics for sourcing, capital and other company matters
Oversee vendor analytics, market analysis and model potential outcomes
Develop and manage RFI and RFPs
Manage the capital expenditure process
Prepare the annual budget and long range plan for capital allocations as well as the tracking and reporting of capital expenditures
Partner with Legal on development of standard terms & conditions for agreements/contracts
Track expense savings and provide updates to senior leadership
Oversee administration & maintenance of the contract database
Supervise and develop 2 Analysts

Requirements
Bachelor degree in Business, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance or other related area of study
7+ years of experience in consulting, sourcing or procurement
Experience preparing and managing the RFP process
Experience negotiating contracts
Outstanding interpersonal, organization and analytical skills
Highly proficient with MS Excel & PowerPoint
Proven ability to effectively interpret and simplify complex financial data and strategies and present polished & accurate summaries to leadership
Motivated to grow and perform in a high performance organization
Track record of delivering results
