Robert Half Property Platform Localization Analyst in Mclean, Virginia

Description

Our client is looking for a Property Platform Localization Analyst to assist them in supporting the customization of their hotel property management platforms to ensure full compliance with local legal requirements. This position works with an international team and will require great communication skills. Your responsibilities will include the initial localization for new countries the hotel chain enters and the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of property management platforms in existing markets. You will serve as a vital liaison between regional business teams and the global technology organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering, documenting, and analyzing country-specific legal requirements to determine their impact on the hotel's property management platforms.

  • Converting business requirements into functional requirements and collaborating with engineering and testing teams to deliver these solutions.

  • Overseeing the delivery of localization capabilities to ensure they are completed on time.

  • Reviewing test cases to confirm adequate test coverage and validating test results.

  • Handing over newly developed localization capabilities to other technology and business groups to ensure proper implementation and support.

  • Managing the pilot implementation of new localization capabilities.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the business and technology sectors.

  • Proactively seeking to expand current knowledge of the hotel's technology capabilities.

  • Identifying areas of risk and cross-functional dependencies from conception through delivery.

    Requirements

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Degree

Requirements and Skill Set:

  • Two (2) years of experience implementing a PMS, such as Opera.

  • Three (3) years of professional work experience in hospitality.

  • Two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role managing business requirements.

  • Experience working in international hospitality (outside of the US and Canada).

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Additional Requirements:

  • Occasional travel (10%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of professional work experience in a multinational company.

  • Experience with property management systems, such as Opera, OnQ PM, HotelKey.
