Robert Half Accounting Manager in MCMINNVILLE, Oregon
Patricia Carlile with Robert Half is looking for an experienced, driven Accounting Manager for an immediate opening at an innovative, on-the-rise company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. Preferably, you should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Located in the Mcminnville, Oregon area, this Accounting Manager position would be on a permanent basis.
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Team up with FP& A and accounting management to develop relevant, timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, training, and administrating
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements, which includes data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

Requirements - Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
Recent relevant financial experience
Reliable technology and analytical abilities
Practical knowledge of cost analysis
Command of payroll
Strong familiarity with general ledger
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Financial Statement experience
Well-founded grasp of reconciliations
Prepare Financial Statements experience
General familiarity with GAAP Accounting
Proven knowledge of month end closings
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
