Description
Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our clients accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role is essential for the smooth financial management of the company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the company's day-to-day financial operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
Prepare and process payroll for employees.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Handle general ledger and trial balance reconciliations.
Prepare and file sales tax returns.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Work closely with the CPA for annual audits and tax preparation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Provide financial reports and analysis to management as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a recruiting or staffing firm.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with payroll processing and tax filings.
