Robert Half Purchase & Sales Specialist in Medley, Florida

Description We are in search of a Purchase & Sales Specialist to join our team in Medley, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for order entry, creating invoices, and ensuring timely follow-ups on pending orders. You will also manage work in progress reports and close out balances on orders. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Execute purchasing and order entry tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

• Generate customer invoices, ensuring all billing information is correct and up-to-date.

• Regularly follow up on orders that are yet to be fulfilled, addressing any delays or issues promptly.

• Manage work in progress reports, providing updates and insights as required.

• Close out balances on orders, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

• Utilize systems similar to Magaya for various operational tasks.

• Adapt to flexible scheduling, with potential shifts including 8-4 or 8:30-4:30pm.

• Use QuickBooks for billing related tasks.

• Handle new clients and support additional headcount as the team grows.

• Apply skills in Purchase Orders, Customer Invoices, Billing, Export Customer Service, Vendors, and Key Suppliers to perform daily tasks efficiently. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Purchase & Sales Specialist role or similar.

• Strong proficiency in handling Purchase Orders is mandatory.

• Experience with Customer Invoices and Billing is required.

• The candidate should have a good understanding of Export Customer Service.

• The ability to coordinate and liaise with Vendors and Key Suppliers is crucial.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and other relevant software tools is expected.

• The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work according to business needs is required.

• A relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
