We are offering an opportunity for a Billing Manager in Memphis, TN area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of student tuition and fee accounts, overseeing billing processes, and ensuring timely and accurate billing statements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall billing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain and update student tuition and fee accounts

• Handle customer service inquiries related to billing and payments

• Lead billing functions and collection processes

• Coordinate with the financial aid department to resolve student financial aid issues

• Participate in the development and implementation of billing procedures

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions for delinquent payments

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

This role requires skills in Billing Functions, Collection Processes, Customer Service, Student Financial Aid, and Tuition management.

Requirements • Proficiency in managing billing functions

• Familiarity with collection processes

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience with student financial aid

• Knowledge of tuition related processes

• Ability to supervise and lead a team

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficiency in using billing software

• Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail

• Good understanding of accounting and financial principles

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred

• Experience in a supervisory role within a billing department is advantageous

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
