We are offering an exciting contract to hire employment opportunity for a Call Center Specialist in Memphis, Tennessee. This role is crucial in our team's operations, handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing applications. The position is particularly suited for those with a background in high volume call centers, customer service, and banking services.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently answer inbound calls and assist customers with their inquiries

• Process customer applications and keep customer records up to date

• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or individual

• Maintain a professional demeanor while managing high volume of calls

• Demonstrate empathy in all customer interactions, managing and de-escalating situations as necessary

• Work closely with other team members to ensure all customer inquiries are handled effectively

• Adhere to set protocols and scripts while maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with other departments to provide top-notch customer service

• Utilize banking services knowledge to provide accurate information to customers

• Handle customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.

Banking industry experience is a plus

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls in a high-volume call center environment

• Proven ability to assist customers with various inquiries and issues effectively

• Proficient in providing banking services over the phone

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

• Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric approach

• Knowledge of CRM systems and practices would be advantageous

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification

• Previous experience in a banking call center would be a plus.
