Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Memphis, Tennessee
Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Technician II to join our IT team and provide exceptional technical support to our employees.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of moderately complex user-reported desktop and laptop hardware and software issues.
Diagnose and resolve connectivity problems (wired and wireless).
Provide remote and in-person technical support to end-users.
Install, configure, and maintain peripherals and software applications.
Perform data backups and recoveries as necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities and resolutions.
Assist with new user setups and equipment deployments.
Update and maintain desktop software and operating systems.
Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or vendors as needed.
Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and procedures related to IT.
Provide excellent customer service to all users.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a desktop support technician role.
A+ certification or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (including troubleshooting).
Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
Proficient in using remote desktop support tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Customer service focus and a commitment to user satisfaction.
