Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Memphis, Tennessee. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a central role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the company's ledgers, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant recording of financial transactions
• Prepare and process invoices, checks, and bank deposits, maintaining meticulous records of these transactions
• Conduct bank reconciliations to validate the completeness and accuracy of our financial records
• Analyze financial reports and create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure that all accounts payable and receivable are processed as required, maintaining a clear and accurate picture of the company's financial obligations and assets
• Monitor financial transactions, promptly reporting any suspicious activity to management
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records, ensuring that all transactions are accurately documented
• Resolve any accounting discrepancies with customers and vendors, ensuring that all financial relationships are clear and well-managed
• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to streamline and optimize accounting functions
• Perform cash flow analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and other general accounting tasks as required.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Computerized Accounting Systems
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in preparing Annual Budgets
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
• Expertise in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Skills in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Knowledge of General Accounting principles
• Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper is a must
