Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Memphis, Tennessee

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Memphis, Tennessee with a local CPA Firm. Previous experience working for a CPA Firm is required. The individual will be part of a team providing vital financial services, handling the complete accounting cycle for a diverse range of clients, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position requires someone with extensive experience in a CPA firm environment and the ability to manage multiple client accounts seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Engage closely with a portfolio of clients, from small businesses to enterprises, understanding their unique financial needs and providing personalized solutions.

• Manage the complete monthly accounting cycle for assigned clients, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions to maintain credibility and transparency.

• Generate comprehensive month-end financial reports for clients, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and collaborate with tax professionals for tax planning and compliance.

• Utilize extensive experience working within CPA firms to navigate complex accounting scenarios.

• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices to provide informed solutions.

• Thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving client needs and industry changes.

• Proficient in various Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Billing Functions.

Requirements • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites

• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook effectively

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in managing Billing Functions
