Description
The Human Resources Support Specialist will focus primarily on handling phone inquiries and ticket management related to employee HR matters, with a strong emphasis on W-2 related calls. The role requires proficiency in systems like Workday, Five9 (phone system), and Zendesk (ticketing system). This position is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills who can deliver timely and accurate support to employees.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Handle high volumes of employee phone calls, focusing on W-2 inquiries and HR-related issues.
Manage and resolve HR tickets using Zendesk, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution.
Utilize Workday to access employee records and provide accurate information.
Advise employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefit inquiries while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Document inquiries, resolutions, and escalations accurately within ticketing and HR systems.
Collaborate with HR teams to ensure seamless employee support and issue resolution.
•Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on professionalism and empathy.
Experience handling phone systems (Five9 preferred) and managing tickets in platforms like Zendesk.
Proficiency in Workday or similar HR systems.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle high call volumes.
Familiarity with legal HR practices, such as employment regulations and compliance standards, is a plus.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
0-2 years of customer service, call center, or HR support experience.
Additional Details:
Work Arrangement: Mostly remote, with the option to work onsite in Memphis as needed (e.g., power or internet outage).
Contract Terms: 3-month initial assignment, with potential for extension.
Availability: Must be local to the Memphis area.
