Robert Half Marketing Project Manager in Memphis, Tennessee

Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of marketing projects across various channels. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Director and internal teams (e.g., creative, strategy, media) to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to balance workloads, anticipate resource needs, and manage capacity to avoid bottlenecks.

  • Create and maintain project documentation, including proposals, contracts, and status reports.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address any issues that may arise.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and clients.

  • Conduct regular project status meetings with clients and internal teams.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve project management processes and workflows.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.

    Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in project management (preferably within a marketing or advertising agency), traffic management, or resource management is required. Project Management certifications a plus.

  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Jira).

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables) and relevant marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and ability to work as part of a team.

  • Experience with specific marketing channels (e.g., digital marketing, social media marketing, content marketing).

  • Strong knowledge of marketing research and data analysis.

  • Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
