Robert Half Relocation Specialist in Memphis, Tennessee


This candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining all phases of the tenant relocation process. The chosen candidate/Relocation Specialist will receive training and will receive support from the corporate team during the project. Specific areas of responsibility will include resident and landlord relations, relocation benefit distributions, identifying new housing options and social services for residents, and receipt processing. General tasks and requirements will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Responsibility for weekly written and oral reports on the progress of the relocation.

  • Daily face-to-face and phone-based tenant counseling to help residents navigate the Section 8 leasing process.

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and well-organized tenant files for the relocation.

  • Identify quality housing options for residents and assist them with their application process.

  • Securing social services (transportation, credit counseling, food/clothing, etc.) for residents.

  • Ensure that all relocation benefits (checks) are requested and distributed to residents in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Calling and/or emailing all assigned tenants on a weekly basis.

  • Scan all benefit receipts to the corporate on a weekly basis.

    Requirements - Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

  • Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

  • Landlord Tenant Disputes experience highly desired

  • Relocations experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of real estate leasing

  • Leasing Consultant experience required

  • Customer service experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
