Description We are in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will prepare and analyze financial statements, provide insights into financial performance, and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements and will participate in special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights into the company's financial performance

• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and trend analysis, to support strategic decision-making

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including GAAP and tax regulations

• Maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting

• Coordinate and provide support for external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed

• Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting, accounting procedures, and systems

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development

• Participate in special projects as assigned, such as acquisitions and system implementations

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to fulfill job duties. Requirements • Must possess a strong understanding and experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is necessary

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is a must

• Must have working knowledge of General Ledger

• Familiarity with Journal Entries is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Experience in conducting Month End Close is required

• Knowledge of NetSuite is highly desirable

• Experience with Oracle is an added advantage

• Familiarity with SAP is preferred
