Description This role handles essential tasks, such as financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates need to bring strong analytical skills to the role and should be capable of handling challenging, fast-paced work environments. How you will make an impact
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements - Skilled at time management
2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Proven knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation
Bank reconciliations experience preferred
Cash reconciliations experience
Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Excel
Practical knowledge of account reconciliation
General familiarity with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Quality experience with Excel Formulas
Well-founded grasp of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Account reconciliation experience
Earlier work involving Microsoft Excel
Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience
Solid understanding of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
High attention to detail
Strong communication and social skills
