Major responsibilities
Maintain servers, load-balancers, and data storage across a variety of locations
Aid in planning service capacity, forecasting demand, evaluating software performance, and tuning systems
Influence and develop new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems
Requirements
Network operating systems knowledge - as well as knowledge of programming or scripting language - is highly valued
A proven understanding of HTTP traffic, content delivery and caching
Command of clustered and virtual storage solutions
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10
Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server 2012
Command of VMware
Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM - System Center Configuration Manager
Expertise in crafting, analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems
