Description
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure to meet the technical needs of the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security. Your role will involve evaluating existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Design, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
Implement and manage system security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
Collaborate with development, IT, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver robust system solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually improve system operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in systems engineering, including system design, deployment, and management.
Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, and security principles.
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
